William Doonan graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in 2004 and went on to teach high school algebra for two years.
Afterwards, Mr. Doonan was accepted into law school. He graduated from the Texas Tech University School of Law in 2009 and has been practicing law since that point. Mr. Doonan’s practice has extensively involved family law, and in January of 2015 he became Board Certified in that area by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
When help a teacher was a small vision of Debbie’s, Mr. Doonan supported and encouraged Debbie upon seeing the vast potential that the idea had. Mr. Doonan remembered back to when he was a teacher and to this day understands first hand how important moral and financial support from others is towards teachers. Mr. Doonan values education and further values the impact that teachers who are passionate about their jobs can make on the lives of their students.
Mr. Doonan is blessed and honored to serve on the board of the Help A Teacher Foundation and as CFO for Help A Teacher, LLC
